The Details
Experience an inspiring evening dedicated to Restoring the Sacred with the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.
Cocktail Reception | 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Begin the afternoon among friends, old and new, as we gather in celebration of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius. Enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres while connecting with fellow supporters united in the mission to Restore the Sacred.
Welcome & Invocation | 4:00 p.m. Rev. Joseph Brom, SJC, sets the tone for the evening as Master of Ceremonies, followed by welcome remarks from the Very Rev. Joshua Caswell, SJC, Superior General of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius, and an invocation from His Excellency Bishop Joseph N. Perry.
Gregorian Chance Raffle Drawing: A parent of one of the men in vocation with the Canons will draw the winning tickets. Prizes include $1,000 for first place, $500 for second, and $250 for third. Raffle tickets are mailed alongside dinner invitations and will also be available for purchase at most Masses in September prior to the dinner (dates to be announced). The drawing will take place Sunday, September 27, 2026, at The Chicago Hilton — winners need not be present.
Dinner, Program & Live Auction: Enjoy a fine dining experience while hearing updates on the growth of the Canons Regular and the formation of the men preparing for lives as holy priests and brothers, followed by the live auction and the final bidding moments of the silent auction.
Closing Prayer & Fellowship: The evening closes with a prayer of gratitude for all who gathered in support of the Canons. The bar remains open a little longer, offering time for continued conversation, celebration, and checkout for live and silent auction winners.
