The Servant of God Fr. Willie Doyle was an Irish Jesuit military chaplain killed saving wounded soldiers in World War 1. Renowned for his holiness of life and with a reputation for favors, he has been an inspiration even for several canonized saints. His canonization cause was opened in the Diocese of Meath in Ireland in 2022.
