St. Anne's Triduum - July 24-26

St. Anne, the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary, has always been a special patroness of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius since it is at the church dedicated to her that our patron, St. John Cantius, is buried in Krakow, Poland. As such, we have continued a long-standing tradition in which three consecutive days are dedicated to St. Anne's intercession.
Join members of the Canons Regular at their Chapel of St. Anne in Lawton, MI Friday, July 24th - Sunday, July 26th for camping, activities, prayer, Masses, and so much more! We invite all the faithful to come for the whole weekend or even just a day and celebrate the patronage of St. Anne with us.

Helpful Information:
Camping - Faithful are welcome to camp on the property over the course of the weekend. There are no designated campsites, electricity, or water available (except hose water at the chapel). So all campers should come prepared to "rough it" through the weekend. Camping will be allowed in the back fields or nearby the pond (where there is a pavilion available for communal use with tables and chairs, coolers, a grill, etc.). A large bonfire pit is also located near the pavilion for use. There will be one extension cord run out to the pavilion with a power strip to allow some lighting to go up around the pavilion, but the use of this will be limited.
Parking - Parking will be ample around the chapel and in the back field. Campers may be able to drive back to their campsite in order to unload. However, depending on the weather and conditions of the grounds this is subject to limitation to preserve the grounds and keep cars from being stuck. We also will regulate the driving of vehicles since so many people and children will be present.
Toilets - Aside from the working toilet and sink in the chapel (which will be available for use), there will also be two high-standard port-a-johns available throughout the weekend located near the chapel. These will come stocked with toilet paper and hand sanitization.
Food - All meals should be self-provided! The only meal that will be provided is the cookout on Saturday evening. Otherwise, all campers are responsible for bringing and cooking their own food. Of course, many share out of charity, but campers should not take advantage of the kindness and supplies of others!
Activities - Swimming, Volleyball, Airsoft, Sports, Fireworks, etc. will take place at the direction of the Canons and Volunteers who are present to ensure safety. All activities are subject to Canon approval and may be suspended at their discretion.
