On the 20th Anniversary of September 11th, St. John Cantius Parish celebrated a Special Requiem High Mass at 8:30 am followed by an outdoor ceremony at 9:30 am on the steps of the church with many first responders in attendance. We recognized and prayed for these the members of the Chicago Fire and Police Departments as well as all first responders, and the victims of terror. Notably, those who died on this fateful day twenty years ago were brought to mind throughout the morning Mass and blessing.
