Marian Consecration- Fall 2023

Join us as we begin a 33-day preparation for Marian Consecration. For six weeks, we’ll individually ead about and reflect on four great Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Teresa of Calcutta and St. Pope John Paul II. They will teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. Individual daily preparation will begin on Monday, September 4th. Our consecration will take place on Saturday, October 7th, the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.

Our formal preparation will consist of an initial meeting on Saturday, August 26th, a mid-session question and answer meeting on Saturday, September 16 and our Consecration on Saturday, October 7th. Participants will read daily from, “33 Days to Morning Glory” by Fr. Michael Gaitly, MIC and will have access to watch weekly videos. Families and groups of friends are encouraged to participate together.

All participants will receive a beautiful certificate to commemorate their consecration. There is no cost to participate in the program if you have your own book.

Why is Marian Consecration useful and beneficial?

Roman Catholics believe that it is important to have Jesus in our lives. Through Marian Consecration we open our lives to Jesus in a total and comprehensive manner. It is through Mary that we learn truly what, “Do whatever He tells you” means. It is through Mary that we learn to live in God’s Will for us rather than our own. It is Mary who teaches us: “Let it be done to me according to your word”. Marian Consecration helps us to walk the “road that is straight” and enter through, “the door that is narrow” to enjoy eternal life with the Holy Trinity, with Mary and Joseph, and with all of the angels and saints. Marian Consecration helps us to make sense of our lives.
