Congratulations to all those who received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. John Cantius Church Saturday evening June 4th, 2022!
More than 60 young men and women from both St. John Cantius Church and Saint Peter Church in Volo were Confirmed in the faith. His Excellency, Bishop Joseph N. Perry, presided and blessed the candidates with the gift of the Holy Spirit on the Vigil of Pentecost. Both pastors, Father Nathan Caswell, SJC, and Father Joshua Caswell, SJC, along with many family members, friends, and parishioners joined in praying for the confirmandi during this moving Mass.
Bishop Perry charged the young people to be courageous in professing their faith!
We thank Connie Ballantine who prepared students from St. Peter’s and Mr. Melichar and Mrs. Beth Lee who instructed the students from St. John Cantius.
