Christmas at Cantius

Every year hundreds of parishioners, visitors, and friends join us for our Christmas Masses and Devotion at Chicago's downtown St. John Cantius Church. Below is the schedule of our Christmas services.

Before the Christmas Eve Midnight Mass, the Resurrection Choir and Orchestra will perform pieces by Bach, Bartolucci, Adam, and Willcocks. The Mass Parts will be by Mozart and the Offertory will feature Eybler, Mozart, and Brixi. The Closing piece will be Gruber's Silent Night for mixed choir and orchestra. We welcome His Excellency Joseph N. Perry, Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago, celebrant of the Midnight Pontifical High Mass in the Extraordinary Form.
