The 2022 St. John Cantius Parish Picnic was a great success! We shared in the joy of lively music with a guest appearance from Br. Andrew, delicious food and wonderful fellowship with all our parishioners and friends.
From the mouthwatering pig roast to the vibrant face painting, the excitable moon jumps to the every chaotic water balloon (and bucket) fight, the thirst quenching Oktober fest libation to the soaring Blue Angels and so much more, fun was certainly had by all!
A special moment we had during the picnic was the statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary which we rescued from St. Ethelreda’s Convent which now has a home with us and was a blessed by Fr. Joshua.
Thank you for joining us and a much noted thank you to all the volunteers who helped make this years picnic run with ease and a success, thank you!

What a fantastic picnic! I really liked the idea of beer participants. And could you add some Argentinian cuisine next year? For example, prepare a traditional Argentinian dish - empanadas. I think the guests will really like it!
