On September 26th, 2021, friends of the Canons Regular of Saint John Cantius gathered with priests and brothers of the order for an elegant meal, lively entertainment, and one another’s company all with the cause of supporting the mission of Restoring the Sacred in record numbers!
The brothers and priests of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius thank those in attendance for their ongoing support as well as those whose efforts made the evening a success, especially Ms. Delphine Michalik and the benefit committee. Another special thanks to Mr. Justin Sheffield of Ashland Addison Florist for the beautiful table arrangements. We also thank Mrs. Esther Jula of EsteeG Photography for the beautiful photos of the event.
"Over this past year we have had some beautiful signs of hope for our community. All of our parishes are growing. Although we have had some crosses to bear these past couple of years, and we have had some purifications it hasn’t always been easy. We remain focused and united on our mission of Restoring the Sacred at vibrant parishes in Chicago and beyond. We just want to thank you. All of what we do would not be possible without your prayers and support," shared Very Rev. Joshua S. Caswell, SJC, Superior General, Canons Regular of St. John Cantius.
Bishop Joseph N. Perry leading the invocation was especially meaningful to the brothers and priests of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius as His Excellency's faithful support of our growing community never fails. 27th Ward Alderman Walter Burnett, Jr. and his wife, Darlena Williams-Burnett, were also in attendance and we thank them for their support.
All of our guests and friends contributions, large or small, are greatly appreciated and will continue to help us support our men in formation as we continue our mission to restore the sacred.
