St. Anne Triduum

t. Anne, the mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary,  has always been a special patroness of our parish. In fact early records show our parish used the name “St. Anne - St. John Cantius Parish.” A beautiful oil painting of St. Anne holds a prominent place above the High Altar in our church.

St. John Cantius himself was a devotee of St. Anne, and pastored St. Anne’s Church in Krakow, where his tomb and relics are enshrined today.

Each year, around the feast of St. Anne, July 26th, we celebrate the St. Anne Triduum, three days dedicated to her intercession. The Canons Regular have a chapel in Michigan dedicated to her patronage where public Masses and devotion are held.
