The Great Paschal Vigil - Holy Week 2010 at Saint John Cantius Church (102 images)

Fr. Bart Juncer, SJC celebrated the mass of the Paschal vigil. Fathe C. Frank Phillips, CR, and priests of the Canons Regular of St. John Cantius concelebrated the Mass. The service began with the Blessing of the Easter Fire on the steps of the Church. During the service three were received into the Catholic Faith through the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation. Visiting religious included brothers from the Society of Jesus, the Order of Saint Augustine, and sisters from the Missionaries of Charity. Visiting seminarians were also in attendance.

The St. Cecilia Choir sang the Missa Christus Resurgens by Adrian Willaert, and motets by Richafort and Clemens non Papa.
