Upcoming Ordinations

Through the power of the Holy Spirit and the imposition of hands by His Eminence Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I., Archbishop of Chicago, Reverend Brother Scott E. Thelander, S.J.C. will be ordained to the Holy Order of the Priesthood, and Brother Robin C. Kwan, S.J.C. will be ordained to the Holy Order of the Diaconate, for the Archdiocese of Chicago, as members of the Canons Regular of Saint John Cantius. The Mass of Ordination will be offered at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at St. John Cantius Church to which all are invited.
As you have shared in the preparation of these men for Holy Orders by your prayers and support, you are invited to share in their joy. All are welcome to attend a reception in the parish hall after the Ordination.

The Canons Regular of St. John Cantius also invite you to the Solemn Mass of Thanksgiving offered by Reverend Scott E. Thelander, S.J.C. on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at 12:00 p.m., Noon at St. John Cantius Church on the Feast of the Visitation of Mary (Ordinary Form of the Mass).
