Preparation for Consecration to Mary

Fatima Cantius
“Marian Consecration is the surest, easiest, shortest, and the most perfect means to become a saint.”

Join us as we begin a 33-day preparation for Marian Consecration. For six weeks, we’ll individually read about and reflect on four great Marian giants: St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Teresa of Calcutta, and St. Pope John Paul II. They’ll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary. Individual daily preparation will begin on Monday, November 5th. The Consecration will be held in a group on Saturday December 8th, after the 8:30am Mass for the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Marian Consecration useful and beneficial for me?

Roman Catholics believe that it is important to have Jesus in our lives. That is good, but more is available to us. Through Marian Consecration we open our lives to Jesus is a total and comprehensive manner. To do this we use a Church-approved and well-tested means.

It is through Mary that we learn truly what “Do whatever He tells you” means. It is through Mary that we learn to live in God’s Will for us rather than our own. It is Mary who teaches us: “Let it be done to me according to your word.” Marian Consecration helps us to walk the “road that is straight” and enter through the “door that is narrow” to enjoy eternal life with the Holy Trinity, with Mary and Joseph, and with all of the angels and saints.

Marian Consecration helps us to make sense of our lives.
