Altar Servers from Assumption Grotto Visit St. John Cantius

The Altar Servers from Detroit’s Assumption Grotto Church visited St. John Cantius on December 30, 2008.
After a tour of the church, Fr. Phillips gave a talk about the parish, the restoration of the sacred and vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
The young men enjoyed a game of football with our novices and then joined us for Solemn Vespers and for a spaghetti dinner.
St. John Cantius Parish encourages young men to serve at the altar as a means of discerning a vocation to religious life and priesthood.
